Most of you know that we give away dinner 5 nights a week through our local community page. But you have to be a member of this page to enter. So we want to share the love a little more with more of our customers. From early July we will run a competition on Facebook for all of our followers to enter, so if you follow us, keep an eye out for our feed and the opportunity to win. The prize is 2 Pizza’s and a garlic bread.

But there’s more news on the competition front. Did you know we provide catering for all sorts of events-Weddings, Birthday parties, engagement parties and corporate events. All you need is an excuse for a party and we will bring our truck or trailer to you set up and cook! We’ve been doing this for as long as we have been running our food truck. Want to try us out? Well now’s the time to tell you the big prize we have on offer. We have a competition starting with this newsletter, where you can win a catered Lunch event at your home or a Brisbane City Council park if you want for 40 people. That’s right we will come, set up, and feed you and 39 of your friends for free, however, there’s a few things you need to do to enter and of course conditions apply. You know what they say-you’ve got to be in it to win it!

Last month we had two major things happening. The first was Moira’s Pizza. Moira was one of our customers at Wittonga Park The Gap, and after a brief fight passed away in May. We wanted to do something to remember Moira and so we renamed our Pepperoni pizza “The Moira” for the month of June. Every Pepperoni pizza sold we donated $2 to the St Vincents Hospital that cared for her so well. We raised $360 over the month of June. Did you try Moira’s favourite pizza and add chilli flakes to yours? We will miss Moira but remember her amazing smile!

We also had a new pizza added to the menu but after 6.5 years of coming up with pizza names and ideas, we wanted your help to name this one. Did you try our “Name this pizza” pizza? We had almost 200 names submitted and to be honest we didn’t know which one was the best name, so we think we will put it out to you to find the best one. We’ve shortlisted it and put it out on a facebook post for you to vote on-there’s some really good ones and remember the person who came up with the new name wins a pizza. The name will be drawn on Monday 14th July so get in and vote now.

Did you know we now have a Burger truck called Bangin’ Burgers by the wood fired oven. Bangin’ Burgers was created to bring you our great range of hand smashed Wagyu beef burgers and hand breaded southern fried chicken burgers, but with a twist. Our daughter was diagnosed last year as Coeliac and we have had gluten intolerance in our family for a while now, so we wanted to create a burger that was not only the best (a big call I know) but was gluten free, though you wouldn’t know it. Now we do have regular burger buns but we also have gluten Free buns and we have made everything on the truck so it has not gluten in it-not in our sauce, or our meats or even our chicken coating. So if your Coeliac or gluten intolerant give our burgers a try-I don’t think you will be disappointed.
